I feel closer to God when I’m surrounded by His creation — be it mountains, oceans, lakes, forests, or some other natural setting.

I feel closer to God when I’m in a setting that allows me to have a sensory experience - when I can see, smell, hear, and almost taste the glory of God.

I feel closer to God when I’m participating in worship forms and traditions that hold memories from my childhood.

I feel closer to God when I am alone in His presence with no distractions. It's during those moments of stillness and silence that I can truly tune in to His voice and experience His divine presence in its purest form.

I feel closer to God when I actively engage in standing up for His justice, fighting against the wrongs in our world, advocating for the marginalized, and staying informed about current issues.

I feel closer to God when I encounter Him in the needy, the poor, the sick, and the forgotten. Whether sitting by the bedside of someone who is lonely or ill or offering a helping hand, serving others is when I feel His presence most.

I feel closer to God when my heart is overwhelmed with joy and I worship Him with exuberance and fervor. I love to celebrate His goodness and majesty.

I feel closer to God when my emotions are stirred — when He tenderly touches my heart, expresses His love for me, and makes me feel like I'm His dearest friend.
